A prototype of the rarest Aston Martin DBS GT Zagato spottedAugust 4, 2020
The journalists have published a photo of a prototype of a luxury coupe Aston Martin in an exclusive version from the design studio Zagato. The car was tested at high speed at the Nürburgring race track.
The British Aston Martin range has exclusive versions of the regular models. Some of them are created in collaboration with the Italian design studio Zagato. The “spy” images, which appeared at our editorial office a couple of minutes ago, show an uncoupled prototype of the exclusive DBS GT, which underwent high-speed tests around the German Nürburgring race track.
Zagato is an Italian bus assembly company headquartered in Milan. Also, these guys are engaged in the production of bodies for cars.
Both Aston Martin and the Italian bodybuilder have teamed up to create several special versions of the Aston Martin sports coupe. Usually, such cars have a rather small circulation. The British-Italian partnership that creates these more luxurious versions of Aston Martin’s sports coupes is more than half a century old and shows no signs of stopping. One such model is the DB4 Zagato and the Virage and Vanquish in a three-door station wagon.
It is worth saying that this prototype of the latest DBS GT Zagato looks and sounds promising. We don’t know how much the driver used the engine’s potential, but the car looked relatively controllable in high-speed corners.
Under the hood of the novelty is a 5.2-liter V12 engine with 760 horsepower. In addition to impressive performance, the motor has amazing sound.
