A pickup truck like Marty McFly from the movie “Back to the Future” appeared on saleNovember 4, 2020
A Toyota Pickup Xtra Cab 4×4 was put up for auction on the Bring a Trailer website.
The cost of a pickup in production year 1984 has now hit $ 17,855, with two more days left before the close of trading.
Such a high cost for a 36-year-old model is due to tuning. A copy of an auto-movie hero was made from a pickup truck: a similar car was used by Marty McFly in the movie Back to the Future. The styling was done thanks to the lift suspension, arc with additional lighting and painting in a black shade.
The pickup is equipped with the appropriate license plates: MCFLY 84. However, they are not included in the price. Along with this, the pickup is equipped with custom bumpers, side steps, a spotlight on the front bumper and roof, off-road tires on 15-inch wheels. In the cabin, in turn, it is worth noting the presence of non-standard acoustics.
The mileage, unlike many interesting lots, is rather big in this case. In the Carfax database, the last mark is from November 2019: 487.6 thousand km. Since then, the instrument cluster has been replaced, and the current mileage is unknown. As for the equipment of the pickup, it is equipped with a gasoline in-line 97-hp four-cylinder with a volume of 2.4 liters, along with which the manual transmission functions. The engine has been overhauled. In addition, the timing chain, spark plugs, radiator and all pipes were replaced.
In addition, it was recently noted that a very rare Ford GT supercar was put up for sale. It should be emphasized that the car is equipped with a 660-horsepower 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine, which works in conjunction with a Getrag 7-speed “robot” and rear-wheel drive.
