A photo of the interior of the updated Jeep Grand Cherokee appeared on the Internet
August 6, 2020Motor1 has released a snapshot of the interior of the restyled Jeep Grand Cherokee, which is expected to appear next summer.
Judging by the photo, two large displays will appear on the front of the model. One of them is a 10.5-inch digital “device”, the second is an infotainment complex.
Physical buttons will appear on the display of the multimedia system, for which they are still unknown. The traditional transmission selector will be replaced with a washer.
The updated Jeep Grand Cherokee will be built on the Giorgio chassis of the FCA concern, which underlies the Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio. Initially, the novelty will be offered with a 2.0-liter gasoline “turbo four” and a hybrid power unit based on the 3.6 V6 engine. According to assumptions, in the future there will also be a rechargeable hybrid version, a 4-cylinder turbodiesel and a “charged” version of the SRT.
When the new items will be shown, it is not currently reported. The November auto show in Los Angeles was not formally canceled, however, given the coronavirus pandemic, the auto show is unlikely to be held. But the premiere, in any case, will take place in the coming autumn or winter.
In addition, it was recently reported that the American corporation Jeep announced the debut of two special variations of the Gladiator pickup. At the moment, it is known that one of them will acquire the name Willys / Willys Sport, and the other – the 80th Anniversary Edition.
