A new generation of Volkswagen Polo revealed before the premiereJanuary 22, 2019
A car without camouflage was spotted by photo spies during testing. It is assumed that the public presentation will take place in March at the Geneva Motor Show.
In Germany, photospies managed to photograph a new, already the eighth, generation of Volkswagen Golf. European bestseller looks completely ready for the debut, which should be held in March 2018, at the next Geneva Motor Show. Judging by the presented photos, the car will remain true to its image and will receive a slightly modified design of the front and rear.
The car will be built on the modern modular architecture MQB, which will allow him to lose 35 to 75 kg of mass. This also contributed to the increase in body rigidity, greater safety, as well as an increase in the space in the cabin. The luggage compartment boasts a volume of 400 liters.
The engine lineup of the updated hatchback will include modern 1.5-liter engines from the VAG group, as well as hybrid modifications will appear. Closer to the summer, the company can present a sports version with the GTI index, which can develop up to 250 horsepower.
Serial production and sale of the model is planned for mid-summer 2019.
