A new generation of SsangYong Korando reveals cards before the debut in GenevaFebruary 28, 2019
The European premiere of the fourth generation of all-wheel drive SUV will take place in a few days.
Korean company SsangYong completes final preparations before the fourth-generation European Korando crossover debut at the Geneva Motor Show. At the same time, the brand management decided in details to tell its customers about the features of the future novelty.
The basis for SsangYong Korando was the concept of 2016 called SIV-2. This concept car, by the way, also debuted at the Geneva Motor Show.
According to the developers, with the change of generation in the interior of the Korando 2020 there have been revolutionary changes. First of all, the manufacturer turned to higher quality finishing materials, not forgetting to work on equipping the cross. Now this model will be able to compete even with its most prestigious “brothers”. Another advantage that distinguishes the updated model from competitors is the free space in the cabin. Thus, the manufacturer has increased the free space over the head of the passengers, as well as legroom in the second row.
It is known that the SsangYong Korando engine range for Europe will be represented by two power units: a 1.5-liter gasoline turbo engine and a 1.6-liter diesel engine. By 2020, the model can acquire an electric modification. The Geneva premiere of the Korean crossover is scheduled for March 5th.
