For the cost of Honda you can buy a new Camaro with the “eight”
The site Bring a Trailer put up for sale a roadster Honda S2000 sample of 2009, the mileage of which is only 146 kilometers. A week remains before the end of the auction, and at the moment the car is estimated at 50 thousand dollars.
For comparison, for 48.5 thousand in the United States, you can take a new Chevrolet Camaro convertible with a 6.2 V8 engine or an open Ford Mustang with a five-liter “eight” for 46 thousand dollars. At the same time ten years ago, the same Honda S2000 roadster was sold for 34.8 thousand dollars.
In 2009, when the production of the Honda S2000 was completed, a total of 84 copies of the model were assembled in black, and this car became one of them. The roadster was never registered to a private person, all this time being owned by dealerships in the state of New York. The car is currently located in San Diego, California.
The roadster is equipped with a 2.2-liter engine producing 240 horsepower, a six-speed manual gearbox and a limited slip differential on the rear axle.
The car is equipped with xenon headlights, tire pressure sensor, audio system, cruise control, leather interior and 17-inch wheels.
Earlier, 48-year-old Honda S2000 with a mileage of 1610 kilometers was sold for 48 thousand dollars on the same site.
