80-year-old American John Klauer shared his emotions about owning a Ferrari F40. According to the man, despite a solid return, he continues to drive his 478-horsepower supercar every day in any weather.
John Klauer is an experienced collector. For 80 years of his life, the man owned almost two dozen supercars, among which there are 15 different Ferraris, Lamborghini Aventador, and McLaren 675 LT. However, according to him, Aventador was too wide for him, and McLaren he uses as a car of the day.
Of course, the main brand in the life of an American pensioner is the Italian manufacturer from Maranello. At the moment, the man is enjoying the daily driving of the legendary red Ferrari F40. John claims that thanks to one of the greatest supercars in history, he experiences extremely positive emotions and remains young in spirit despite his age.
Ferrari F40 was produced from 1987 to 1992. The supercar is equipped with a 2.9-liter V8 with 478 horsepower. The unit works in tandem with a five-speed manual transmission. The coupe accelerates to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds. The maximum speed is 324 kilometers per hour.
