Torque remained the same – 700 newton meters.
Superseden able to accelerate from zero to 100 km / h in 3.7 seconds, and its maximum speed exceeds 320 km per hour. The engine works in conjunction with the all-wheel drive system and a specially configured eight-speed automatic transmission.
In April of this year, the super sedan Jaguar XE SV Project 8 set a record for the Dubai circuit. The car was driven by Jaguar Land Rover engineer and test driver Javi Barrio Duato, who was able to complete a 5.39-kilometer track in 2 minutes and 18.81 seconds.
Last year, Jaguar upgraded the XE SV Project 8 sedan. British engineers used new silent blocks and stiffer springs in the suspension, as well as reinforced engine mounts. Plus, the sedan used upgraded brake mechanisms that provide “improved pedal feel.” According to the developers, these changes significantly improved the car’s handling.
