2022 Subaru BRZ sporty appeared in Gymkhana 11 trailerDecember 7, 2020
A trailer for the 11th episode of the popular Gymkhana drift show has appeared on the Web.
The new series will be the first in history to not feature the creator of the project, Ken Block. Instead, the founder of freestyle, Travis Pastrana, will perform extreme stunts on a modified Subaru WRX STi.
In the new episode, Travis Pastrana will perform extreme stunts in the US state of Maryland. The founder of freestyle motocross will perform a spectacular drift on the blocked streets of the city, use a light-engine plane for filming, and also jump over a boat sailing across the bay several times.
Instead of Ken Block’s Ford Mustang Hoonicorn, Travis Pastrana will perform breathtaking stunts in a Subaru WRX STi specially prepared for the show. The serial sedan was modified with a carbon fiber aerodynamic body kit, a huge front diffuser and a rear wing with two working planes.
In addition, the car was equipped with a shortened exhaust, the pipes of which were brought out through the hood and an additional safety cage. Under the hood of Subaru is a 2.5-liter supercharged gasoline engine with a capacity of 314 horsepower. In addition, the 2022 Subaru BRZ will appear in the new episode. The eleventh episode of Gymkhana will be released on December 8, 2020.
The fact that Ken Block will not participate in his own Gymkhana became known at the end of May. At the same time, it was reported that Travis Pastrana would become the successor of the American automobile extreme.
