2022 Kia Stinger gets additional colors and new logoMarch 4, 2021
The Korean company is preparing to bring the updated Kia Stinger fastback to the market.
Kia has begun shipping the new Stinger to dealerships in the United States. According to available information, the refreshed vehicles will be available in the optional Ascot Green color scheme – a dark green with shades of gray. In addition, the novelty will be the first car of the brand to receive a revised logo on the radiator grille and steering wheel.
As of today, it is known that the updated Stinger in the GT1 version has received completely new LED headlights, which include 4 LED daytime running lights. For the GT2 version, LED headlights are exclusively available in the form of a projector and have a light curve. Another feature that is now also common to the GT2 is the 7-inch color dash display, with the GT1 only getting a 3.5-inch monochrome display.
The GT1 models will come with leather trim, but the GT2 will receive nappa leather inlays. Finally, we now know that while the all-new 2022 Stinger will get new full-width illuminated taillights, the US won’t get the consistent rear turn signals we’ve seen in other markets. Instead, we get a row of LEDs for the rear turn signal, which all flash together when the turn signal is turned on.
