2022 Hyundai Elantra N Announced Ahead Of Global LaunchJune 24, 2021
Hyundai has released the first two teaser images of the highly anticipated Elantra N.
The South Korean automaker has announced the Elantra N since last September and has released several images of camouflaged prototypes. Some YouTube users even had the opportunity to test the sedan as a prototype. We can now catch a glimpse of the Elantra N without any camouflage.
Unsurprisingly, these two teasers depict the Elantra N in the usual Performance Blue shade of the N unit, with red accents on the side skirts and rear diffuser. The Elantra N features large round tailpipes like other Hyundai N models, and a unique rear spoiler in black.
Hyundai also showed Elantra N wheels. They are very different from the i20 N and i30 N wheels and have sharp spokes finished in silver and black.
According to Till Wartenberg, Vice President, Brand Management and Motorsport, Hyundai Motor Company, the Elantra N is a high-performance sedan that brings out the sporty side of our exclusive new Elantra through exciting enhancements to the N brand. dynamic driving performance and a style that performance enthusiasts love.
The Hyundai Elantra N is implied to be powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 275 hp. Buyers will be able to choose between a six-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Hyundai has not announced a launch date for the vehicle, but promises to release more details “in the coming weeks.”
