2022 Honda Civic color palette unveiledMarch 26, 2021
The prices and characteristics of the 2022 Honda Civic remain unrevealed. In addition, the delightful orange hue featured on the prototype has never been seen anywhere.
As for the 2022 Honda Civic, the Japanese automaker hasn’t gone too far to limit the information it receives. Earlier this month, reports emerged that the new Civic sedan would be more powerful than the previous model, and a few days later, just weeks before its debut, the production version was spotted without camouflage. Now there is information that reveals both the available trim levels and the color palette of the entire Civic line.
In 2022, EX (1.5T), Touring (1.5T), LX (2.0) L4 and Sport (2.0) L5 trim levels will be offered. In all likelihood, the EXL version was dropped from the lineup, which came as no big surprise with the recent inclusion of the Sensing as standard across the lineup, effectively helping to bridge the gap between the EX and the Touring. In terms of colors, the base model can be painted in Aegean Blue, Lunar Silver, the new Meteorite Gray, Platinum White and Rallye Red.
The Touring trim adds Crystal Black and Sonic Gray to the roster, while the LX replaces the base Morning Mist with only Crystal Black. All colors except Morning Mist are available for the high-end sports options, but you will have to wait to find out what shades will be available for the new Type R model. The 2022 Honda Civic is due to arrive this November.
