2022 Ford Bronco Warthog to replace Jeep’s off-road throneOctober 6, 2020
The American brand has launched a teaser campaign for the new Bronco Warthog SUV, as well as declassified some details about the model.
The new Ford Bronco Warthog looks pretty impressive despite the camouflage in which it was captured. The SUV received 17-inch rims from the F-150 Raptor, which were shod with BFGoodrich All-Terrain T / A tires. Note that earlier the company representatives reported that the rubber size is 37 inches.
Thus, we can conclude that the new 2022 Warthog has a stiffer suspension, unlike the regular Bronco, which has problems with “clearances” if tires over 35 inches are put on it.
Also, the new SUV is equipped with Fox shock absorbers. It is clarified that the suspension of the new Ford Bronco Warthog practically did not use light aluminum components. In the exterior of the novelty, we note the improvised widened arches and a front protective plate.
The new SUV should be powered by a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 with 310 hp. and 542 Nm of torque. But it is possible that the Warthog will receive a 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 with a return of about 400 hp.
