2021 Subaru Outback and Legacy pricing revealedAugust 7, 2020
Prices for the Japanese Subaru Outback wagon and the 2021 Legacy sedan have surfaced. The off-road wagon and sedan will receive a slight price increase as well as an expanded list of options.
Last April, Subaru unveiled an updated version of the Outback station wagon during the 2019 New York Auto Show, and a few months later, it went on sale with a starting price of $ 26,645. Now there are pricing data for the all-terrain station wagon and the updated Legacy sedan for the 2021 model year.
The models received a slight increase in prices, as well as wider lists of equipment with all kinds of options.
Both cars will hit the Japanese automaker’s dealer showrooms this October, starting at $ 22,895 for the 2021 Legacy and $ 26,795 for the 2021 Outback. Those numbers are $ 150 higher than the 2020 versions of the same auto.
For model year 2021, all trim levels in both the Outback and Legacy will receive full LED headlights as standard equipment, as well as a passenger seat belt reminder system. Meanwhile, the top-end Outback Touring XT and Legacy Touring XT trims start at $ 40,995 and $ 37,070, respectively.
The 2021 Legacy will be available in six trim levels: Base, Premium, Sport, Limited, Limited XT and the aforementioned Touring XT. Buyers will have access to Subaru’s symmetrical all-wheel drive and a choice between a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated engine or a 2.4-liter turbocharged engine.
As for the 2021 Outback, it will continue to be available in Base, Premium, Limited, Touring, Onyx Edition XT, Limited XT and Touring XT trim levels. A new Brilliant Bronze Metallic exterior color is available for the Premium trim level, as well as two additional “packages” that add options such as a power tailgate, keyless access, sunroof and large infotainment screen.
Not so long ago,AutoTimesNews wrote that the new Subaru WRX STI will get a 2.4 turbo boxer. The updated Subaru WRX STI will get a supercharged 2.4-liter boxer engine. Its performance will be 406 hp. (500 Nm).
