2021 Lexus RX to get Sport Edition in EuropeSeptember 16, 2020
Lexus has introduced a new Sport Edition for its mid-size crossover. The novelty, which is intended for the European market, has received visual updates. Production will start late next month.
Japanese premium crossover Lexus RX in exclusive Sport Edition will be released later this month. The novelty will receive a black false radiator grille, contrasting with chrome trim, dark side mirrors, similar to those used on the more powerful version of the F Sport, and five-spoke 20-inch alloy wheels, painted in dark bronze.
In the Eastern European markets where the brand is present, the new RX Sport Edition boasts more significant upgrades such as the aero kit.
It consists of a new front bumper front lip, a lower rear bumper and side sills painted in the same shade as the rest of the car, and a Black Vision badge on the tailgate.
The luxury car brand Toyota will also expand the availability of its Tahara upholstery with a new design.
In addition to the optional extras featured in the Sport Edition, the 2021 RX crossover continues to offer a wide range of technological equipment, including an infotainment system with Siri, Google Assistant, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration. More expensive versions of the model boast a 12.3-inch touchscreen with voice control, head-up display and other functions.
Lexus Safety System + equips the car with safety systems that help drivers, including a collision avoidance system that can detect pedestrians at night and cyclists during the day. The RX also features an adaptive BladeScan high beam system that improves illumination.
