2021 Dacia Sandero hatchback goes on saleDecember 2, 2020
The 2021 Romanian Dacia Sandero compact hatchback has been named the cheapest new car in the UK. Now the company is taking orders for a new product. Prices are known.
Dacia is currently taking orders for the next generation Sandero in the United Kingdom. The car retains the title of the most affordable new car with a starting price of less than £ 8,000.
Available in three trim levels – Access, Essential and Comfort, it is priced from £ 7,995, £ 8,995 and £ 11,595, respectively. Deliveries are scheduled for April 2021.
Standard features include automatic LED headlights with DRL, 15-inch steel wheels, automatic emergency braking, 6 airbags, speed limiter, and front power windows.
The Essential trim boasts 15-inch wheel covers, body-colored bumpers, a height-adjustable driver’s seat with armrest, an adjustable steering column, air conditioning, remote central locking, cruise control, media controls, DAB radio, Bluetooth and USB. The Comfort version comes with 15-inch Flexwheel wheels, body-colored side mirrors, chrome trim, power rear power windows, 8-inch touchscreen display, rear camera, and rain-sensitive wipers.
The hatchback will be offered with a 65 hp SCe engine. for Access and Essential trim levels. The latter is also available with a 90 PS dual-fuel TCe. and TCe 100 hp. The Comfort version is the only one available with an automatic transmission for the TCe 90 engine.
The Sandero Stepway is offered with the TCe 90 and TCe 100 dual-fuel engines across the range, while the smaller unit is available with an automatic transmission in Comfort and Prestige variants.
Not so long ago, AutoTimesNews wrote that the Iranian automaker will resume production of the old Dacia Logan. Saipa is set to begin mass production of the Iranian version of the Renault Dacia Logan two years after Renault left the country under US pressure. Moreover, the French themselves will not participate in the new project.
