2021 Corvette C8 sports coupe unveiledSeptember 19, 2020
An online visualizer has been launched on the official website of the American automaker, which will show how the version of the C8 generation Chevy Corvette sports coupe in the 2021 model year will look like.
The Corvette C8 is one of the most popular sports cars of 2020. Despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, fans are crazy about the mid-engined sports car. It is noteworthy that on the official website of the American brand, it has already become possible to assemble a version of the 2021 model year. The online visualizer works for both coupe and convertible models.
For the 2021 Chevy Corvette sports coupe, two new exterior colors are available – Silver Metallic and Red Mist Metallic.
Both colors will replace similar shades from the outgoing model year. The Stinger Stripe will also receive three new colors: Carbon Flash / Edge Red, Carbon Flash / Edge Yellow, and Carbon Flash / Midnight Silver. For those who like a full body stripe set, blue, orange, red and yellow are available as options.
Inside, only a few things have been added, most notably the new interior color Sky Cool Gray / Yellow Strike. The infotainment system will also receive support for Apple CarPlay / Android Auto wireless services – this multimedia configuration will be standard for all trim levels.
The 2021 sports coupe also includes the Magnetic Selective Ride Control suspension, which can now be ordered even outside the powerful Z51. The Buckle To Drive safety feature will also be standard on all model versions. This feature will prevent you from switching from parking mode if you have not strapped in for more than 20 seconds.
It is already known that the 2021 Chevy Corvette will not receive any price changes for the base configuration, but the rest of its versions will cost more.
Not so long ago, AutoTimesNews wrote that the Chevrolet Corvette supercar will receive an electric all-wheel drive system. According to preliminary data, such a car may appear in 2023.
