2020 base version of Chevy Corvette C8 shownApril 9, 2020
A video appeared on the Web showing the Chevy Corvette C8 sports coupe in the basic 1LT. In this form, the car costs $ 59,995
The vast majority of images and videos that capture the all-new Chevy Corvette show us mid-range trim levels of 2LT and a higher level of 3LT. But what about the basic 1LT performance? Buyers order a fairly small number of versions of the 1LT and that is why Chevy management decided to prioritize the production in such a way as to first collect more expensive versions of the sports coupe. In fact, the production of the base 1LT has just begun.
This video, published on the YouTube Daily Downshift, gives us a detailed idea of what a customer gets for $ 59,995.
Looking at the plugs in the cabin, it becomes clear that this car lacks many of the “goodies”. The ventilated seats button is closed by plastic; there is no “nose” lift button.
Other items that are missing include a front panel display, a wireless charging pad, a front camera, and a heated steering wheel. The button for electric folding mirrors is also missing, as is the “opener” of the garage door and the rear view camera. This car does not have a spectacular rear wing – the rear of the car is less aggressive.
The car owner is quite happy to save thousands of dollars by not ticking off the options he doesn’t need. Chevy stopped taking orders for the 2020 Corvette and is rumored to have increased the starting price of the base version for the 2021 model year.
