In the US state of California, a unique car has appeared on sale – we are talking about a collectible Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL 6.3. The copy was assembled in 1969 and has been restored several times over its 51-year history. Now the car is in excellent technical and external condition. In 1990, the sedan passed into the hands of one of the fans of the German brand, after which it was restored in the USA and the body was brought to the state of a new car.
The power plant of the car has also undergone some changes. The engine is a 6.3-liter V8 engine capable of delivering 250 horsepower at 500 Nm of torque. After the revision, the car received new camshafts and pistons, which are used for the powerful AMG. Also, the tuners have modified the cylinder head and exhaust system.
A four-speed automatic transmission works in tandem with the engine. Also, the suspension was completely sorted out – now from the point of view of the chassis the car is in excellent condition. The interior of the car has high-quality leather trim, and the front panel has retained its original state.
The last investment in a collectible sedan was made in 2017 – then 16,500 US dollars were spent on maintenance
The vehicle has traveled 12,325 kilometers. The full technical details of the car have not been disclosed at the moment, but it can accelerate to 100 km / h in 6.5 seconds. The cost will be communicated to customers upon request.
