1600-hp Koenigsegg Jesko shown on videoDecember 16, 2019
Koenigsegg published a video with Jesko hypercar testing.
The Swedish company showed testing a 1600-strong hypercar. The car made several test races on the territory of the Koenigsegg complex in Angelholm.
The new Koenigsegg Jesko will replace Agera RS. Under the hood of the novelty, a 5.0-liter V8 equipped with a dual turbocharger will settle. When using conventional fuel, the power of the hypercar will be 1280 hp, but when using bioethanol E85 this indicator increases to 1600 hp At 5100 rpm, the torque is 1500 Nm, and in the interval 2700–6170 rpm – 1000 Nm.
Especially for Jesko, the company developed the 9-speed LST robotic transmission equipped with eight multi-plate clutches, one of which is used by a differential. Using this unit allowed to achieve a reduction in speed to 20-30 milliseconds.
Also for the novelty was developed Triplex suspension. One of its features is a horizontal shock absorber, which allows you to fight squats at the start. Also, engineers were able to install rotating rear wheels and active engine mounts.
The aerodynamic elements of the car are designed in such a way as to create 800 kilograms of downforce at a speed of 250 km / h, after the mark of 275 km / h, this figure increases to one ton, and the maximum value reaches 1400 kilograms.
