Hennessey recently introduced the Goliath 700 truck, which is a highly modernized version of the Chevy Silverado. As part of this video, the studio arranges a race between the standard Chevy Silverado and Goliath 700.
In November last year, the Hennessey studio decided to modernize one of the trucks of the American concern GM. In the end, for their new project, the guys chose the full-size Chevy Silverado. The Texas tuner talked about the technical specifications of the future Goliath 700 – it was decided to name the new product back in February this year.
With a 6.2-liter V8 under the hood and a huge 2.9-liter supercharger that boosts the boost air, the Hennessey Goliath 700 can deliver 700 horsepower – a huge jump in power compared to the standard 420 hp. (624 Nm).
Of course, increasing power will mean better acceleration and higher speeds. But in case you are interested in how much faster the Silverado is than the regular version of the truck, Hennessey has released a video comparison showing the race between the two versions of the same model.
It is worth noting that the Goliath 700 also received an internal cooling system, an air intake system, an HPE camshaft, chrome-plated hardened pushers, a crankcase ventilation system and an HPE engine control calibration – all these options cost $ 26,950.
A special “off-road package” is also available for the Goliath 700 for $ 14,950, which includes a specific Goliath front bumper with five LEDs, a set of 20-inch wheels with 10 spokes Hennessey, with 35-inch Toyo tires for off-road and 6-inch suspension lift.
