Thanks to the German atelier, the owners of Czech cars can enjoy increased power while maintaining the guarantee. Almost for the entire motor line of the model, an original ABT Engine Control motor control unit is available.
The famous tuning studio decided to turn its attention to another model from the concern Volkswagen. At this time, they finalized their own software and an additional motor control unit for the Skoda Octavia, including for the powerful RS version. This unit is installed in parallel with the original and can be dismantled at any time. Moreover, the modified mode of operation of the engine is provided only in the normal mode of operation of the motor. That is, the unit will turn off when overheating or other problems.
Thanks to ABT Engine Control, the most powerful version of the Skoda Octavia RS boasts an additional 45 forces and 40 Nm of torque (290 horsepower and 410 Nm of torque). Also, the unit is offered for the diesel version, the power of which increased from 184 to 210 horses, and the torque rose from 380 to 420 Nm.
In addition to the “charged” modifications with the RS index, standard versions with 1.4 and 1.8 liter engines were also improved. Of course, the results are slightly more modest, but also noticeable.
