Triumph announced the release of Rocket III TFC in 2020May 3, 2019
Coincidentally, the model was shown shortly after rumors about a new generation began to diverge. Charged motorcycle belongs to the type of power cruiser and has a powerful 2,500 cc engine.
At the beginning of the year, the manufacturer announced a new division of Triumph Factory Custom, and with it introduced the first model that received TFC trim: Thruxton. Later, the company hinted at the second TFC model – Rocket 3. So, an introductory video appeared on the network, demonstrating all the features of the new product, and on the brand’s website all the relevant information. In total, 750 copies of a motorcycle worth 29,000 dollars will enter the world market.
Charged “Rocket” differs from the road version of a huge inline three-cylinder engine of 2 458 cm ³. The unit gives out power of 168 hp and 221 Nm of torque. Such indicators were achieved thanks to titanium valves and direct-flow titanium exhaust system.
Rocket III TFC is equipped with an electronics package, which includes: corner ABS, LCD dashboard, quickshift, traction control and four engine modes. Also, the bike is equipped with Showa adjustable suspension, Brembo Stylema brakes, aluminum wheels and LED headlights. The TFC silhouette seems to be slightly longer than the current generation of Rocket, which creates a more elegant look. By tradition, the body model is covered with carbon fiber.
