SSC Tuatara looks like a spaceship: on the video showed hypercar from all sidesDecember 31, 2018
Under the hood, a 5.9-liter turbo engine is installed, and an incredible aerodynamic body kit outside. Unfortunately, this is not a production version, but a second prototype of the test model.
The most remarkable thing about the published video is that the Pagani Huayra “Scozia”, as well as the sea of Bentley and Aston Martin cars, is not the most important one. The focus of all is on the elusive SSC Tuatara, originally presented at Pebble Beach early this year. The conceptual spiritual successor was introduced back in 2011, and now we can observe the second prototype of 2018.
In this version, the SSC Tuatara is devoid of side mirrors, which once again confirms the information about the test prototype. It should be noted that the understated clearance creates an even more exotic image than Pagani, who is present in the video. Undoubtedly, the future hypercar attracts attention due to the unique shape resembling a spaceship on wheels.
SSC North America plans to produce only 100 copies at a new plant in West Richland, Washington. Representatives of the company are “fully confident” that Tuatara will accelerate to 483 km / h thanks to a powerful engine installed in a light and aerodynamic body.
As a power unit used 5.9-liter turbo engine that can unwind up to 8,800 rev / min. A twin-turbine V8 engine is capable of up to 1,750 horsepower.
It is also known that all 106 McLaren SpeedTail cars will be unique and created for the client. The supercar will not be built soon, but all the planned 106 cars have been bought.
