Skoda electric crossover is close to the seriesMarch 16, 2019
Skoda presented another car at the Geneva Motor Show, built on the MEB platform. They became the conceptual crossover coupe Vision iV, which gives an idea of what the future electric cars will be.
A special feature of the Skoda Vision iV design is the luminous strip across the entire width of the body, which connects the LED headlights. In the future, it will become the hallmark of all Skoda electric cars. Rear: a small spoiler, C-shaped diode lights, an illuminated strip on the diffuser and Skoda typeface on the tailgate.
The overall length of the concept is 4665 millimeters, width – 1926 millimeters, height – 1613 millimeters.
In addition, Vision iV also got a modified grille with vertical fins, cameras instead of side mirrors, whose legs resemble shark fins, and 22-inch wheels.
Inside the crossover installed a new two-spoke steering wheel, digital dashboard and display infotainment system, as if floating in the air. Ventilation deflectors are equipped with individual touch control panels. In the niche in the center console, you can install two smartphones: they will automatically connect to the on-board system and will be charged through the induction panel.
The power plant Skoda Vision iV consists of separate electric motors for each axis. Their total power reaches 306 horsepower. Acceleration time to 100 kilometers per hour – 5.9 seconds. Maximum speed – 180 kilometers per hour. The traction battery under the floor with a capacity of 83 kilowatt-hours provides mileage of up to 500 kilometers per charge.
