On tests seen updated Renault Talisman station wagon

An updated version of the mid-sized Renault Talisman is likely to be presented in the second half of next year – the car, as before, will be offered in sedan and station wagon bodies. It is possible that a new turbo engine will be offered for the car.

The French mid-size Renault Talisman cannot be called the model that everyone knows. Currently, the car is available in Europe and South Korea, and I must say that the model is not popular there. Renault management probably does not like this fact, because they instructed their engineers to create an updated version of the car, which should become a more competitive player in the market.

A couple of minutes ago, at the disposal of our publication were “spy” photos of the updated Renault Talisman wagon and I must say that these are the very first pictures of the French novelty.

Judging by these images, external changes in the mid-size model will be minimized. The front of the car looks almost unchanged, but we assume that camouflage film still hides some imperceptible changes, such as an updated false radiator grille and headlights. The same story at the rear, where the lights have a slightly different internal graphics, and the lower part of the bumper seems to have a new shape.

It is worth paying attention to the unusual exhaust pipe, the presence of which may mean that there is a new turbo unit under the hood. But it is entirely possible that Renault engineers are simply setting up an exhaust gas aftertreatment system for the Talisman station wagon to meet the new stricter European standards for emissions of harmful gases.

So far, nothing is known about the composition of the motor range of the novelty, but I believe that everything will remain unchanged. I note that last year, a 1.8-liter turbo engine from the “charged” Megane RS hatchback rated at 225 hp appeared in the Talisman engine range. (300 Nm). He joined the existing diesel engines of 150, 160 and 200 hp.

Expect to see an updated mid-size model from France in the second half of next year – the car, as before, will be offered in sedan and station wagon bodies.
