MINI will bring the updated models to DetroitJanuary 8, 2018
The British premium brand in recent years is experiencing is not the best of times. Since 2013, MINI sales in the US have been steadily declining, resulting in rumors that the brand may switch to the production of electric cars, but so far it’s only rumors, and at the moment MINI continues to develop its gasoline models.
As portal Motor1 informs, in the near future MINI will present restyling versions of its some models. It’s about the three-door hatchback Hardtop 2 Door and Convertible convertible. Both models will be present at the stand of the brand at the international motor show in Detroit, which opens on January 13.
From actual versions of the novelty will not differ much. It is expected that cars will receive new taillights, front lights, as well as an updated brand logo. But the grille does not change much.
Power plants on restyling cars will be slightly upgraded. Turbo 4-cylinder engines with a volume of 1.5-2.0 liters will receive an updated cooling system and exhaust, due to which the units, although they will not receive an increase in power, will become more environmentally friendly and will work more smoothly.
