Mercedes introduced Maybach collectibleJune 29, 2020
The special version is called Grand Edition. It will be released in a circulation of 10 copies.
Premium German brand Mercedes-Benz presented the collector’s version of the Maybach luxury car. The car will be intended for the Japanese automobile market. The basis for such a car will be a complete set of S 560 or S 560 4Matic. Such a car will differ from the classic version by special trim, new body shades and additional options.
The interior will receive an exclusive two-tone steering wheel and special Maybach logo stripes. Of the equipment, we note the presence of folding tables, a refrigerator and glasses of champagne in the niche between the seats. Mercedes has already reported that a total of 10 Mercedes-Maybach Grand Edition cars will be released. It is noteworthy that all of them will receive a high degree of individualization – among 10 copies there can be no more than 2 identical.
From a technical point of view, the exclusive Maybach completely repeats the standard S 560 – under the hood is a 4.0-liter engine with 469 hp.
29 million Japanese yen are being asked for a collectible version of the Maybach car. For comparison, the standard Maybach S 560 costs 24 million yen.
