The premiere of the new Hypercar Koenigsegg, which will replace the model Agera RS, will be held in March 2019 at the Geneva Motor Show

Company Koenigsegg published a teaser of a new hypercar, which, according to preliminary data, is intended to replace the model Agera RS. The image was shown at the opening of the Lorbek Luxury Cars showroom in Melbourne, Australia.

Judging by the teaser, the novelty will differ from the current Agera RS and Regera. The car will receive another rear part of the body, and a modified wing. It is assumed that the public premiere of the hypercar will be held in March 2019 at the Geneva Motor Show.

In April, it became known that Koenigsegg had completed the production of the Agera RS model, which owns several world speed records. Koenigsegg Agera RS debuted in 2015 at the Geneva Motor Show. Since then, the Swedish brand has released 25 copies of the model. Hypercar is driven by a five-liter V8 petrol engine with two turbines, which with the optional 1MW package develops 1360 hp. and 1370 Nm of torque. The claimed maximum speed of the car is 450 km per hour.

In the fall of 2017, the Koenigsegg Agera RS became the fastest production car in the world, accelerating to 444.6 km per hour. The record race took place in the US state of Nevada on an 18-kilometer overlapped stretch of highway between the cities of Las Vegas and Paramp.
