A team of enthusiasts decided not to wait for the appearance of a high-performance version of the American Ram 1500 pickup, and installed a powerful Hellcat engine under the hood of the car. Some other upgrades have also been made. During the tests, the test car broke more than once.

As it usually happens, there was an impatient enthusiast who decided to independently make his own version of a powerful full-size pickup truck, for this he installed a Hellcat auto engine under the hood. In addition to the 6.2-liter supercharged V8, the car received small external changes – wider wings for larger rims with off-road tires. The upgraded and oil radiator are unlikely to overheat – the tuner installed an air intake on the hood, there are also additional holes in the radiator grill.

According to the assurances of the enthusiast, to the first “hundred” the car accelerates in 13.24 seconds, and this time can be called quite impressive, given the presence of off-road tires. And of course, it is impossible not to mention the supercharged V8 engine, which makes a very loud sound.

The project still needs some improvements – during one of the races, the rear axle broke at the modernized pickup truck. Apparently, the Hellcat engine has too much power for standard auto components. Based on this, the tuner will install more powerful Dana 60 axes.

¬†¬†Based on the “spy” photos, the original Rebel TRX from RAM is in full swing prepared for presentation. The pickup will receive dual Bilstein shock absorbers on each wheel, greater ground clearance and more productive brakes. Insiders report that the truck will debut in the 2021 model year.

Not so long ago, our publication wrote that Ram will release a small pickup truck. There is a first image. The American manufacturer of pickups – the company Ram, is on the verge of making the final decision on creating a mid-size cargo model. The novelty should become a worthy receiver of the Dodge Dakota truck, which was sold in the last century.
