Design of updated Kia Sportage unveiled before the premiereMay 16, 2018
The company Kia has started the final tests of the updated crossover Sportage. Photo shooters managed to shoot a car near the Nurburgring. In the pictures published by Motor1, the car is presented without camouflage. Most likely, the novelty will be presented this fall at the Paris Motor Show.
Judging by the spy photos, the crossover will differ from the pre-styling model with headlight headlights with four LED elements, another radiator grille and other air intakes in the spirit of the concept car SP. Also, the model will receive new bumpers and an exhaust system, as well as an upgraded underbody protection.
In addition to changes in appearance, the technical component of Sportage will also change. So, the crossover will have a modification with a combined power plant, which will operate under the mild hybrid (soft hybrid) scheme. The internal combustion engine will work together with the 48-volt on-board power grid, which will improve fuel economy and reduce harmful emissions.
