Custom Honda CB1000R: Neo-racer with exceptional designJuly 10, 2019
Futuristic-inspired stories attract more and more attention. And this caste is no exception. It is equipped with a 4-row engine of 1000 cm³, like some Honda sports bikes, but rebuilt for a more comfortable ride.
Compared to the standard model, this neo-racer looks a bit more aggressive, but this does not make it any less attractive. Before you is the winner of the Honda CB1000R custom contest, the general public was shown at the Swiss Moto Show 2019. It was developed by experts from the Gannett Design and Fuhrer Moto workshops (Switzerland).
The motorcycle is equipped with a CeraCarbon Racing superlight fork from the 422 Corse, which weighs 75% less than the standard. It is made of carbon fiber using Dyneema ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene and a unique patented ceramic technology.
Rotobox got one-of-a-kind solid carbon wheels (50% lighter than the original ones), and unusual Moto2 rain tires from Dunlop. Other components include the Multi Clip steering wheel and Synto Evo brake and clutch levers from ABM Fahrzeugtechnik, K & N air filter and Akrapovic carbon silencer.
Special attention is the camouflage colors of the motorcycle. This is not a screen painting, as you might think, but a completely handmade Walter Oberli. In addition, he applied seven layers of varnish to achieve the desired effect. Surprisingly hard work of the master.
Earlier, Industrial Moto showed a Honda Grom with a sidecar, which is a modification called GUS with a value of $ 1,600.
