The American company General Motors continues to invest decent amounts in the development of its Chevrolet Cruze model in South America.

The updated Chevrolet Cruze for South America finally appears before us in all its glory. This new product is waiting for the largest South American car market – Brazil and Argentina. This Cruze is similar to the North American version, which debuted in early March. Both cars boast a modified grille, the original design of LED rear lights, as well as a new wheel design. In the top version of Premier, the updated Cruze gets a stylish interior decorated in two colors, as well as better materials.

This interior design Chevrolet model in South America will receive for the first time. Previously, it was intended only for SUVs.

Updated Chevrolet Cruze equipped with Wi-Fi with the ability to simultaneously connect up to seven mobile devices, wireless charging for gadgets and, of course, third-generation Chevrolet multimedia with an eight-inch color touchscreen. At the same time, the automaker decided to supplement the set of active safety systems: the updated Cruze acquired automatic braking and pedestrian recognition systems. The new 1.4-liter four-cylinder gasoline turbo engine with a return of 153 hp, combined with 6AKPP, sets in motion a novelty. Drive – non-alternative front.

Cars with a body type “sedan” and “hatchback” will be available for purchase. Their release will be the GM factory in Argentinean Rosario. Local brand dealers will receive an updated Cruze next month. First, the new product will be offered to Brazilians and Argentines, and in the fourth quarter of 2019, other South American regions will be added.
