BYD E-Seed GT four-seater supercar: up to 100 kmh in 2.9 secondsApril 20, 2019
The Chinese concern three years ago began actively updating its own line. It all started with the hiring of former chief designer of Alfa Romeo and Audi Wolfgang Egger. Now the brand has decided to release the “face” of the brand in the form of a conceptual supercar.
As part of the Shanghai Motor Show, many new products were presented, and international media do not have time to light up all the stands and all the new products. Therefore, the information comes gradually, and now the first photos of the new supercar have appeared on the Web. The conceptual model BYD E-Seed GT turned out to be quite unique for this class. The rapid design, the glossy black roof merging with a windshield, and also a door “gull wing” catches the eye.
The length of the sports car is 4,590 mm, with a height of only 1,490 mm. The diameter of the alloy wheels is 22 inches. As a power unit used a hybrid system with a 2.0-liter turbo engine headed. So far the details are not known, but BYD reports acceleration to “hundred” in just 2.9 seconds.
Unfortunately, company representatives have not yet revealed the details of the production version. Date, possible cost and specifications remain unknown. However, experts noted that BYD has all the features to produce a supercar.
