Bentley launched an online configurator for the Bentayga 2021 crossoverJuly 9, 2020
On the official website of the British automaker, the online configurator of the luxury crossover Bentayga 2021 model year has been launched. Prices collected at the request of the client version of the new Bentley SUV are available only on request.
About ten days ago, Bentley introduced the first seriously updated version of the Bentayga crossover since its debut in the market in 2016. The new model year 2021 received noticeable visual changes, both inside the cabin and outside, as well as some important technical innovations.
The British automaker has just launched a super detailed online configurator that lets you “play” with all the available color combinations, wheel options and a wide range of options available. The configurator does not provide actual price information for the crossover version of your choice.
Bentley proudly explains that it has used over 280,000 rendered images of the updated Bentayga to create this detailed configurator.
Photos were used of almost all important components of the car. “Even more impressive, almost all the images had to be analyzed manually, so that the final version of a particular part of the crossover looked 100% realistic and correct.”
“My job is to combine technology and luxury in the production of Bentley digital models with the same combination of craftsmanship and innovation as our physical machines,” explains Paul Chapman, virtual media brand manager. “I am often asked how many images are required to recreate a Bentley – which can have up to 10 billion possible configurations – in digital space, the new Bentayga needed 280,000 images to display all possible options.”
Currently, the 2020 Bentayga is only available with a 4.0-liter V8 rated at 542 horsepower (770 Nm). Very soon, Bentley will also introduce the high-performance version of the Bentayga Speed with the W12 engine, as well as the plug-in hybrid Bentayga PHEV.
Not so long ago, our publication wrote that Bentley introduced an updated version of the Bentayga SUV. The British brand has published images of its luxury crossover Bentley Bentayga 2021 model year. The novelty received a new look, plug-in hybrid engines, as well as small changes in the interior.
