Bentley showed a large electric concept car EXP 100 GT, which is designed to give an idea of the super-luxury car class Gran Tourer 2035 model. The premiere of the novelty, held at the company’s headquarters in Crewe, was timed to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the British brand.
The length of the car, built of carbon and aluminum, was 5.8 m, and the width – 2.4 meters. Despite the use of lightweight materials, the mass of the huge concept is 1900 kilograms. A distinctive exterior feature was a massive grille, divided in half by a copper strip, and also conical headlamps.
For Bentley EXP 100 GT, a fully automatic control system is provided. At the disposal of the driver and two passengers – a special “digital assistant”. During the trip, he can perform various interactive and informational functions — for example, talk about the sights along the route.
Communication with a virtual assistant takes place with the help of voices or gestures that are recognized by crystal elements on the front panel and center console. Special sensors and artificial intelligence are responsible for the mood – electronics apply the optimal settings of the air conditioner, lighting and music system, depending on a combination of many factors.
The Bentley EXP 100 GT is driven by four electric motors, capable of producing 800 to 1,340 liters in total. with. and 1500 N · m of torque. The car accelerates from the spot to the first 100 kph in 2.5 seconds, and its maximum speed is 300 km per hour. Without recharging, the concept can travel up to 700 km, and a battery can be replenished by 80% in just 15 minutes.
